Overview
A five-bedroom farmhouse on nearly an acre, built for gathering.
Set along a quiet lane on the edge of Sellindge, between Ashford and Folkestone, the house wraps around a generous shaker-style kitchen with a central island, range cooker and a dining table for ten. Bifold doors open straight onto a wide terrace with outdoor dining, a gas BBQ, a fire pit and a hot tub for eight overlooking open fields. At the other end of the house, a deep forest-green snug with a large screen offers the quieter, cosier counterpart to the sociable kitchen. Five king bedrooms — each individually decorated — sleep ten across two floors, with two en-suites and a main bathroom with both bath and shower. Outside, nearly an acre of garden runs out to a children's play area, Wendy house, table tennis under the trees and a lawn that stretches towards wheat fields. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
